Our extension requires the following permissions to function: • storage: To save your preferences (such as resize settings and language choice) • contextMenus: To add the 'Save Image as PNG' option to your right-click menu • activeTab: To access images on the current webpage when you click the extension • downloads: To trigger the download of converted images • '<all_urls>': To enable image saving from any website

Save Image as PNG does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not share any data with external parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

All your settings (such as preferred language, resize options, and max dimensions) are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local (or browser.storage.local for Firefox). This data remains on your device and is not synced to any server.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or port.
